French poultry producer Groupe Doux withdrew its senior notes offer on Friday (12 November) due to “difficult” market conditions.

The company announced plans in early November to raise EUR400m (US$546m) to strengthen its balance sheet.

Groupe Doux insisted that the decision is solely due to market conditions and that once volatility in the bond market returns to acceptable levels, it will look to propose the offer again.
