PepsiCo‘s CEO, Indra Nooyi, has refused to rule out a future move from PepsiCo, possibly to Tata Global Beverages.
In an interview with NDTV in Delhi today (9 November), Nooyi was asked whether she might consider succeeding Ratan Tata, president of Tata Global Beverages.
The PepsiCo CEO told journalist Barkha Dutt that she didn’t know, before adding: “I love what I am doing.”
She said: “Tata is a great company, a nation building company. Ratan’s a great guy and you know the Tata’s themselves are a phenomenal company. Unfortunately I am running a phenomenal company myself and I love doing what I am doing.”
When asked about her future plans ten years from now, Nooyi replied: “I have no idea.” She added: “Ten years from now, you know, like I said I’d like to give back – in some shape or form. Whether it is five years or ten years from now, fifteen years from now, I don’t know.”
