Spanish food group Natra has opened its first sales office in China and a second office in the US.
Driven by the expansion of multinational retailers in the Asian market, the Shanghai office will be a base for the supply of cocoa and chocolate to Natra’s Chinese customers, the company said today (3 September).
The company said it was also strengthening its presence in the US in response to the growing demand for private-label products in the market.
The two branches will join the growing international network of Natra premises, which includes five factories in Europe, from where it produces 115,000 tonnes of chocolate products annually, and a trade office on the West coast of the US.
