Food ingredients giant Danisco has appointed Gilles van Nieuwenhuyzen as president of its enablers division.

Also a member of the firm’s executive committee, Nieuwenhuyzen will join Danisco from 1 September.

A native of the Netherlands and an experienced international executive, Nieuwenhuyzen most recently worked for ingredients firm CSM between 2001 and 2007.
