“We already raised prices at the beginning of the year and now we are raising prices again,” a spokesperson for Unilever Germany told just-food today (5 June).
“About 100 single product prices will increase – including some of our margarine brands and Knorr products.”
The company said that the move was the result of rising raw materials costs.
“We can’t do anything with cost cuts and productivity anymore, as this was the focus of the last [few] years. We must now raise prices again to offset higher raw materials costs,” the spokesperson said.
