The Canadian organic and natural food retailer said that it was forced to abandon public marketing financing last month due to poor market conditions.


In addition to refocusing its expansion drive inwardly, the company is also seeking alternative growth financing, the company said.


“Pausing and focusing on existing operations for a while is always a good step since it allows us to work on integrating and improving what we already have,” said Planet Organic CFO Darren Krissie.
