The company has retained a search firm and expects to fill the role by the time it reports its second quarter results in October.
Knous said: “After serving the company for nearly 13 years, and supporting Craig as he became orientated in the early months of his tenure, we mutually agreed that now was an appropriate time for me to move on to a new chapter in my career.”
Senior vice president for finance, Sherry Smith will serve as interim CFO until the search is completed.
Earlier today (27 July), the company reported a 20.7% drop in net earnings today for its first quarter, which CEO and president Craig Herkert described as “disappointing”.
