French retail giant Carrefour has launched its cut-price Carrefour Discount range in Spain.
The retailer confirmed the move today (9 June) but declined to comment further.

Spain is the latest market for Carrefour Discount, which was first launched in France last year as part of the retailer’s bid to convince domestic shoppers it could provide value.
In April, Carrefour said its sales in Spain had showed signs of improvement in the first quarter of 2010, although like-for-like sales were still down 2.1%.
