Nestle has taken its weight management brand Jenny Craig into the Canadian province of Quebec.
Already available in the country, and having recently expanded into France, Nestle will use a home-delivery approach in Quebec.
The approach will include consultations in French or English, Nestle said, allowing consumers to have menu items delivered directly to their homes.
Elizabeth Frank, vice president and Canadian country business manager of Jenny Craig, said: “Our holistic food-body-mind approach is based on the three pillars of portion-controlled, nutritionally balanced food, increased physical activity and long-term behaviour change. Our strength is the one-on-one personal consulting: we tailor a programme based on individual needs and support our clients to achieve their weight loss goals.”
Canadian actress Sonia Benezra will become the new spokesperson for Jenny Craig’s advertising campaign in Quebec, which includes broadcast commercials, print advertising and a Quebec web micro site.
The personalised programme for weight loss combined with ready-made meals, is currently available in markets including the US, Australia and New Zealand.
