Danish poultry slaughterhouse Danpo, a subsidiary of Swedish giant Scandinavian Poultry, has announced that it will change its name to Spira Danmark.

Danpo said yesterday [Tuesday] that the change of name will have no effect for the company’s staff members, administration or production.
According to newspaper Jyllands-Posten, the Danpo brand will remain in operation in Denmark however, because of its long-standing traditions with the local market.
