UK retailer Marks and Spencer today (12 May) launched a website designed to be viewed on mobile phones, in a bid to build its presence as an online retailer.
The new mobile site offers consumers access to the 24,000 products currently available on the group’s regular website, but also aims to be easily navigated on a mobile device.
“The new site allows customers to browse and buy from their mobile device without the frustrations that come with trying to do the same on a traditional website,” Dave Hughes, director of M&S Direct, said.
