New Zealand biotech company A2 Corp has said it has formed a strategic partnership with US-based Ideasphere to introduce its A2 milk there.
A2 Corp, which was formed in early 2000 to pursue commercial opportunities arising from studies suggesting beta-casein A1 protein, found in standard milk, could cause diseases such as diabetes and heart disease, launched its A2 Milk in July in New Zealand.
Ideasphere chairman and CEO, David Van Andel, said his company sells “healthy living solutions”, reported the NZ Press Association.
“We are continually searching the globe for new products,” he said. “We believe that the breakthrough by…the team at A2 Corp provides a nutrition platform to positively impact millions of people through everyday consumption of products such as milk and ice cream.”
