US fastfood chain Burger King has named Russ Klein as the company’s chief marketing officer.

Klein most recently held the position of managing director and chief marketing officer at convenience store chain 7-Eleven.
Klein succeeds Christopher Clouser as head of marketing at Burger King and will join the company in early June.
Burger King is currently overhauling its advertising and marketing operations after being acquired by a consortium led by Texas Pacific Group from Diageo, reported Dow Jones News Service.
