US ingredients business Martek Biosciences Corp. has struck a deal to supply Chinese dairy Mengniu with its life’sDHA product.
Martek said yesterday (4 May) that Mengniu will use life’sDHA, which is purported to improve brain and eye development, in Mengniu-brand UHT milk.

The US group said Mengniu is launching Mengniu Future Star Kid Milk in China this month, the first milk with life’sDHA to go on sale in the country.
“This product launch further strengthens our presence in China, a key market for Martek, and illustrates our strong position as a key player in the fortified dairy category, even in international markets,” said Martek president David Abramson.
