French dairy group Bongrain has confirmed the sale of its closed factory in Flogny-la-Chapelle to local soup maker Soup’Ideale.
A spokesperson for Bongrain told just-food that it had offloaded its Paul Renard cheese plant to Soup’Ideale for an undisclosed sum.

The facility was closed in 2008 after Bongrain decided to transfer production to three other cheese sites in France.
Officials at Soup’Ideale could not be reached for immediate comment.
