Chinese dairy firm American Dairy has hired an executive from Fonterra’s local venture as general manager.
The US-listed firm today (28 January) named Bo Nie as group general manager. Nie joins American Dairy from Anlac Dairy, Fonterra’s venture in China. He has also worked for local rival Yili.
American Dairy also announced three other appointments, including its move to hire Colgate-Palmolive executive Lewis Pan as vice president of sales and marketing. Pan also has experience at Fonterra, where he spent five years.
American Dairy also appointed Tianli Wang as manager of R&D. Wang joins from Unitech Industries but also spent four years at Fonterra.
The company, meanwhile, named Tingqing Zhang as general manager of its dairy farms division. Zhang joins from Cooperative Resource International (CRI).
