Norwegian conglomerate Orkla, which also has interests in sectors including energy, materials and finance, will merge its food operations with its consumer goods business.
Orkla Brands will become the umbrella organisation for four business units, including three food divisions and a consumer brands business, the conglomerate said.
Orkla Foods, which operates in the Nordic region and in central and Eastern Europe, will be split into three – Orkla Foods Nordic, Orkla Food Ingredients and Orkla Brands International.
