The company told just-food that the cuts would “mainly” affect workers at its head office.
The job losses come with Bernard Matthews set to sell its sandwich business to Ireland-based food and ingredients firm Kerry Group.
In recent months, Bernard Matthews has reviewed its business, which has led to plans to streamline its operations.
“The company’s strategy will be to focus back on its core business of turkey farming,” Bernard Matthews said.
