US bakery company Flowers Foods has said it is voluntarily recalling 19 types of bread because the products may contain small pieces of a metal mesh screen.

Mary Krier, director of corporate communications for Flowers Foods, said fewer than 150,000 units were recalled and the company already has the majority of them recovered and in its possession, reported Reuters.

She said the contamination was caused by a manufacturing problem, and added that there were no reports of injuries caused by the metal pieces.

Details of the recalled products can be found here.
