Ireland-based food group Greencore has promoted Geoff Doherty to the role of CFO.
Doherty, 36, joined Greencore in 2001 as financial controller became development director in 2005.
He will also take on a second role of chief executive of Greencore’s property and agribusiness interests.
Doherty will succeed Patrick Coveney who, as Greencore’s chief executive-designate, will take the top job at the company in March.
Coveney said: “Geoff is already a key leader in our business and has played a central role in shaping the business and culture that we have today.”
