Dairy brand Rachel’s Organic is to move into the ice cream sector in the UK, licence owner R&R has said.
The brand, which is one of the UK’s leading organic milk and yoghurt products, will make its debut in the ice cream category next month.
R&R said it is looking to drive sales with the release of healthier and super-premium products.
“Rachel’s has built its reputation by offering the best quality in the market,” said R&R senior brand marketing manager Charlotte Hambling. “We’re expecting really strong incremental results from this as new customers are attracted to the ice cream market through Rachel’s brand recognition and reassurance.”
The Rachel’s Organic ice cream, dubbed “ravishingly raspberry” and “decadently double cherry”, will be available in a 500ml tub and priced at GBP4.29 (US$8.41)
