This month, Princes will launch a new premium canned range with a distinctive silver label, the first of which will be Alaskan skinless and boneless salmon. A premium deli ham is also planned, with further product development on the way during 2008.


Neil Brownbill, marketing director for Princes Foods, said: “There’s growing demand for premium products in the ambient and canned category. With household penetration of 70%, Princes is well positioned to take the lead in premium NPD.”
