New Hope Dairy has acquired the 41% of shares it does not already hold in Anhui Purity Dairy Co.
New Hope Dairy, a unit of Chinese real estate to chemicals conglomerate New Hope Group, paid CNY26.51m for the remaining Anhui shares, the company said in a regulatory filing.
New Hope Dairy operates 11 dairy farms and 10 dairies, with more than 100,000 heads of milk cows. According to the company, it is the largest dairy enterprise in south-west China.
