Rimi Baltic’s store sales, excluding VAT, totalled around EUR1.15bn (US$1.67bn) representing a drop of 11.9% on the year.
The retailer, part of Sweden’s retail group ICA, operates 245 stores in the Baltic region; 78 are located in Estonia, 102 in Latvia, and 65 in Lithuania.
For the 12-month period, Rimi Estonia experienced an 8.4% drop in sales to EUR358.4m, while sales for Rimi Latvia dropped 13.2% to EUR557.5m.
Rimi Lithuania sales fell to EUR238.3m, a 13.5% drop on the previous year.
