Chiquita Brands International has confirmed that it is considering moving its headquarters.
A spokesperson for Chiquita, which is based in Cincinnati, said the US produce group has been in a process of evaluating where to have its long-term headquarters for “some time”.

“We are discussing options with officials in Cincinnati and Ohio, as well as other locations, including Charlotte,” the spokesperson said.
The produce group has not made a decision on where the headquarters will be located. However, the spokesperson insisted it is “focused on determining the best possible long-term location that best positions our business and employees for growth”.
