China Food Co., a Chinese manufacturer of cooking and dipping sauces, has announced the appointment of Tang Lin as CFO.

She joins China Food from accountancy firm Shandong Haoxin, where she is a founding partner, and replaces Frank Chau, who is leaving the board.

John McLean, non-executive chairman of China Food, said: “We are confident that her knowledge and expertise will be invaluable to the Board as we continue to pursue our expansion strategy and accelerate the growth of the company. She has extensive experience in finance, coupled with experience of working between China and London, and we look forward to working with her to further develop the business.

“The board would also like to thank Frank Chau for his contribution to the company over the years.”

In April, China Food announced its net profit increased 35.7% to reach GBP2.3m (US$3.7m) during 2010.
