Lithuanian venture capital firm Gemini Grupe has received the green light to purchase Polish food producer Cenos.
In a stock exchange filing from Cenos’ parent company Pamapol this week, the companies have received consent from the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (OCCP) for the acquisition to proceed.

Pamapol said the consent was required in order to finalise the transaction and conclude the share purchase agreement.
Cenos is one of the largest Polish producers and distributors of rice, groats, salt, peas, beans, as well as rice and corn flakes. No financial details of the agreement were disclosed.
