Brazilian retailer CBD has booked a 7% increase in quarterly same-store sales thanks to its food and non-food outlets.
CBD, Brazil’s largest retailer, reported a 7.1% in gross same-store sales for the third quarter of the year.

The company, also known by its trading name of Grupo Pao de Acucar, said gross same-store sales from its food division were up 6.8%.
On a consolidated basis, gross sales increased 8.7% to BRL13.7bn (US$6.71bn). Gross sales from food were up 7.5%.
The retailer will report its full third-quarter results on 31 October.
