Aunt Bessie’s has launched what it claims is the first frozen gravy product in the UK.

The food group has developed Aunt Bessie’s Homestyle Gravy, cubes of “frozen fresh gravy” that can be microwaved in under two minutes or cooked on the hob in less than five.

The gravy, which has been frozen to “capture the fresh taste for longer”, will go on sale next month in Classic and Perfect for Chicken variants at an RSP of GBP1.69 (US$2.68). Each pack contains six cubes, which the firm said is enough for 12 servings.
