UK children’s food maker Annabel Karmel has extended its range of healthy snacks featuring Disney characters such as Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse.

The sweet and savoury snacks include: bite-size mini blueberry and yoghurt biscotti, apple and blackcurrant oaty chewy bars, oaty ginger biscuits and cheese and herb multigrain puffs. The range is free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives.

The range, produced under licence, complies with The Walt Disney Company’s nutritional guidelines, which include controlling calories, fat, saturated fat, sodium and sugar, and eliminating trans fats.

Marianthi O’Dwyer, head of consumer products for The Walt Disney Company UK, said: “The new snacks nicely complement the existing range… we hope that the much-loved Disney characters will continue to encourage children to enjoy eating tasty, healthier snack foods.”
