A strike that brought production to a standstill at a Ferrero plant in France ended on Friday evening (15 April), the company has confirmed.
Industrial action was called off after four days when staff unions accepted the company’s improved offer of a pay increase.
Ferrero said that production of Nutella chocolate spread and Kinder Bueno chocolate bars restarted soon after the pay agreement had been reached. From the outset of the strike, the company had underlined that there was no risk of supply shortages to retailers.
