Carrefour has appointed Stephane Deutsch as managing director of its Malaysian and Singapore operations, replacing Guillaume de Colonges, who will become managing director of its Turkey operations.
The company confirmed the appointments to just-food today (31 March), adding that the appointments are effective 21 March.

Deutsch was previously managing director of the retailer’s Southern China division.
Late last year the retailer cancelled its plans to sell its Malaysian and Singapore divisions, after the auction did not attract bids that would have justified proceeding.
