Moy Park, the European arm of Brazil’s Marfrig, is “strengthening” its processing capabilities in the UK through the conversion of 450 temporary staff to permanent positions at its facility in Anwick.
The facility now provides permanent employment to more than 1,500 people.

“This investment is a vote of confidence in the British agriculture industry”, said Gary Leslie, director of primary operations at Moy Park.
Leslie added the move would enhance service delivery for UK retail customers. “Our Anwick site is one of the most efficient state of the art operations of its kind in the UK and Europe.”
