French vegetable processor Bonduelle Group has booked an increase in first-quarter sales and reaffirmed its outlook for the full-year.
In the three months to the end of September, sales were up 0.7% to EUR451.7m (US$), the firm reported today (7 November). Like-for-like sales increased 4.4%.

In Europe, Bonduelle saw sales grow 3.1% on a like-for-like basis, primarily due to the success of innovation in its canned and frozen segments.
Outside of Europe, Bonduelle said sales were “highly satisfactory”, growing 7.2%, with activity in the emerging economies remaining “pretty dynamic”.
The group reaffirmed its full-year turnover forecast of 3-5% growth.
