Spain-based meats firm Campofrio is to open a frozen pizza manufacturing facility in the south of Spain.
Campofrio has invested EUR25m (US$34.5m) in the Ólvega-based plant in the centre of Spain, which will produce the firm’s frozen and fresh pizza ranges for branded and private label. It is scheduled to open in April.

The facility will employ around 90 people and will be the tenth production facility for Campofrio in Spain.
The company already operates nine factories producing four brands of products: Campofrío, Revilla, Oscar Mayer and Navidu’l.
