UK supermarket chain J Sainsbury PLC has named Keith Evans as its new non- foods director, reporting to an assistant MD, Stuart Mitchell.

Evans joins the company from home improvements centre B&Q where he was trading director, showroom and building, from 2000. Prior to that role, he worked for 19 years at high street retailer Marks and Spencer.
