Magnesen, who is currently controller of the Kraft Cheese Division, will report to Marla Gottschalk, senior VP, financial planning and investor relations. He will manage the company’s relationship with the investment community and shareholders.

Betsy D. Holden, co-CEO of Kraft Foods, and president and CEO, Kraft Foods North America, commented: “Effective investor relations requires an in-depth understanding of the business and strong communications skills. Mark brings both to his new position.”

Magnesen joined Kraft in 1991 as a senior financial analyst in the Frozen Foods Division. Since that time, he has held a number of significant finance, strategy and general management positions in the Pizza and Cheese divisions.
