French retailer Casino has received regulatory approval to buy 38 convenience stores from discounter Groupe Norma. The French Antitrust Authority has given Casino the green light to buy the stores, which are located in south-east France. The deal is subject to the sale of a store based in Charlieu, Casino said. “The operation should come into force within the next weeks,” it added.
