Lindt & Sprungli-owned US confectioner Ghirardelli has introduced a new line of milk chocolate called Ghirardelli Gourmet Milk.

The product comes in three variations: Creamy Devotion, which has 32% cacao chocolate; Sea Salt Escape, which contains sea salt and roasted almonds; and Coconut Rendezvous, with toasted coconut flakes.

Ghirardelli said it will appeal to people who are tightening their purse strings in the current economic climate but also enjoy the occasional treat.

The Gourmet Milk line of products will be available in 3.5oz bars that retail at US$2.79 and 4.5-5.25oz bags that retail at $3.99 and is on sale at mass, grocery and speciality retailers nationwide.
