Norwegian fish giant Domstein has reported that its April to June Q2 2002 saw a turnaround in its fortunes, with operating profit reaching NKr132m (US$17.5m) compared to an operating loss of NKr2.2m in the Q2 2001.

Q2 turnover rose to NKr663m for 2002 from NKr496m year on year.
According to a report in iMarkedet, the company’s operating result actually includes a gain of NKr165m from the sale of its Belgian seafood processing subsidiary Pieters.
