Gluten-free foods specialist Van’s Natural Foods has launched a line of cereals, crackers and snack bars.

California-based Van’s said today (9 January) the range will hit grocery aisles from this month. The group has also launched gluten-free waffles within its flagship frozen range.

As well as being gluten-free, the new range of breakfast cereals, crackers and snack bars are marketed as free from artificial flavours and colourings, and high fructose corn syrup.

Van’s marketing director, Sarah Meis, said: “Our new breakfast and snack-time options are so good the whole family will love them whether or not they realise they are gluten free and filled with healthy whole grains and fibre.”
  
Van’s wholegrain cereals carry a suggested retail price of $3.99, while its whole grain crackers are priced at $2.99. The firm’s wholegrain snack bars have a suggested price of $4.49 and will come in chocolate, cranberry almond and peanut butter chocolate flavour.

The new frozen waffles range, which is gluten-, dairy- and egg-free, will be priced at $3.49.
