Kronos Foods has signed a licencing agreement with Meyer Family Farms for the marketing sale and distribution of frozen pomegranate arils in the US.
Sold under the Perfect Gems brand, the arils – or seeds – which are typically available only seasonally, will now be available year-round. Kronos will sell organic and non-organic arils to supermarkets, specialty grocers, club and foodservice customers.

“There is a large and untapped year round demand for frozen pomegranates arils and pomegranate arils blended with other fruits,” Kronos CEO Howard Eirinberg said. “Our team is proud to work with Meyer Family Farms and expand opportunities for retailers and food service professionals looking to build their business through this trendy frozen super-fruit.”
The frozen aril products will be available in five variants including snacking and bulk options.
