Such consumers have been advised not to consume this product, which is made in China, as it may contain sulphites which are not declared on the label.


Richmond Hill, Ontario-based Sang Lee Dry Seafood Ginseng & Antler (Canada), the importer of the 454g and 1lb packages, is voluntarily recalling the product from the marketplace, where it was distributed in Quebec.


Consumption of this product may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction in persons with sensitivities to sulphites, although there have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
