The affected Farmer Brand Shandong Peanuts were sold in 180g packages with UPC 0 82312 124063.


Food contaminated with Salmonella will not look or smell spoiled. Common symptoms of Salmonella infection include nausea and abdominal pain, although more serious consequences are possible, especially in young children, in the elderly, and in people with weakened immune systems.


There have been two reported illnesses associated with the consumption of this product.
