UK: Police make nine arrests after anti-GM activists destroy wrong field
Police arrested nine people yesterday [Sunday] after they destroyed a field of crops near the Dorset town of Blandford. A police spokesman explained that the people had mistaken the field for one containing genetically modified (GM) crops: “I can only assume they got the wrong field.”
