General Mills' US unit Annie's Inc has added to its cookie range in the US.
Three new cookie varieties – Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate Chip and Oatmeal Raisin – and three cookie bite products have been added to the portfolio.
Annie's said the new lines are made using organic wheat and free from high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oils, artificial flavours, synthetic colours or preservatives.
"Consumers should never have to make a trade-off between great taste and quality ingredients, even when it comes to their favourite indulgent treats," said Robyn DeFina, marketing director at Annie's. "Our new cookies fill a void in the cookie aisle for health-conscious consumers who want the best of both worlds: delicious flavour, minus the bad stuff. We're excited to introduce six new varieties the whole family will love."
The cookie products have an SRP of US$2.99-3.99 per tray and will be available in August
The bites are available now at Target Corp. stores in re-sealable 5.5oz bags. They have an SRP of US$2.25.
