Italian pasta sauce and antipasti maker Polli is eyeing international growth in key overseas markets.
Speaking to just-food today (9 July), marketing manager Manuela Polli confirmed the company aims to expand its European presence.
For instance, she revealed Polli has set a five-year target to more than double its turnover in France, where it reportedly generates sales of EUR1.5m (US$2m) under the Polli brand. “EUR5m in five years in France is our goal,” Polli said.
Polli also aims to grow revenues in non-EU markets, she added.
“Our company is active in exporting its products since 1950 and we have a relevant presence in more than 40 countries of which Brazil, China, Switzerland. We strongly believe in international development and we are structuring our company for achieving this aim.”
Polli did not provide further details of the group’s international growth targets.
