It is feared that the chocolates may contain hazelnut and/or peanut protein that are not declared on the label, reports the Canadian Press.
The following products are affected by this alert:
- Witor’s brand Bianco Cuore Milk chocolate pralines with milk cream and cereals sold in a 360-gram package bearing the UPC 8 003535 006808.
- Witor’s brand Bianco Cuore Milk chocolate pralines with milk cream and cereals sold in a 600-gram package.
The importer, Ewa Trading, Concord, Ont., is voluntarily recalling the affected products from the marketplace. They are known to have been shipped to British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec
