Six Chinese poultry groups have joined forces to establish a 530,000 square metre poultry production plant that will operate as the Great Northern Wilderness Baoquanling Farming Development Co.
The companies backing the project are: Shandong Yisheng Livestock and Poultry Breeding Co., Shandong Minhe Animal Husbandry Co., Beidahuang Baoquanling Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Development Co., Aingdao Kangdi Industry Co., Beidahuang Meat Industry Corp. and Zhong Chu Qin Corp.

In 2015, the facility is expected to reach an animal husbandry output of CNY742m (US$119.7m), an industrial output value of CNY918m. The project is also expected to achieve a white chicken output of CNY1.66bn, Shandong Yisheng said.
The project encompasses the full chain from feed production and hatcheries to farms and processing, Shandong Yisheng stressed.
