Kerry Food, part of Kerry Group, has launched a meat snack aimed at "adults on the go" under its Mattessons brand.

Available in the UK from today (18 May), Mattessons Strip Sticks are chicken skewers made with 100% chicken breast and are said to be high in protein.

The Strip Sticks are available in Classic Roast, either as a single or a multipack of minis.

Kerry said: "although the foundations of chilled snacking were built on child and teen snacking…Mattessons has clearly demonstrated that there is also a great sales opportunity within adult snacking."

Strip Stick single 50g portion has an RSP of GBP1.49 and Strip Sticks Minis multipack of two 30g portions have an RSP of GBP1.69.
